Bei Installation einer Lüftung mit Abluftbetrieb und einer kamingebundenen Feuerstelle muss die Stromzuführung der Lüftungsgeräte mit einer geeigneten Sicherheitsschaltung versehen werden.
Hierfür eignet sich der Fensterkontaktschalter.
Die Lüftungsgeräte der Serie 400 und Muldenlüftung der Serie 200 besitzen einen Anschlusskontakt für einen Fensterkontaktschalter.
Bei angeschlossenem Fensterkontaktschalter funktioniert das Lüftungsgerät nur bei geöffnetem Fenster. Die Beleuchtung funktioniert auch bei geschlossenem Fenster.
