Description
A parmesan knife is a special form of cheese knife. Although it sometimes has a cutting edge, it is not used for cutting, but for splitting and breaking out pieces of cheese from a large piece of Parmesan.The Parmesan knife has a rounded pommel; the blade is compact, almost triangular. The Parmesan knife is well suited for drilling into a loaf or large piece of hard Parmesan or Grana padano and breaking out bite-sized pieces.
